Behind the scenes here at HMPhoto, we are big fans of open communication and setting expectations. All of our clients should feel prepared, comfortable, and safe while they are in front of the lens. It is our belief that we all deserve to see ourselves in empowering and affirming ways.
Before stepping in front of the camera, we will meet (virtually or in-person when possible) to discuss your vision and budget, then create a project plan together.

Hello, I'm Melissa, you can call me Mel if you like.
Based in the Pacific Northwest with roots in the Bay Area and the Midwest.
I have been an artist my whole life. Growing up in a small town, I have always felt a little out of place. I now spend my adult life traveling and living on the west coast with my partner and our adorable cat + pup.
I hope that through my work I can uplift the stories that are shared with me along the way.
