Cheers, Peter! is an original cyanotye collage created using photography, collage, digital tools, and cyanotype. I'd like to share the inspiration behind the creation of this piece.
This big ass boat ran aground way back in 1908! Every member of the 27-person crew was rescued and when the captain of the ship reached land, it's recorded that he gave all of the crew whiskey and as they toasted the ship he said, “May God bless you and may your bones bleach in these sands.”
She was the only casualty of the day, and you can still see her on the Oregon coast.
