I started making zines...
in January 2024, after I watched some really inspiring YouTube videos of this incredibly lovely human. Bre is a Black & Polynesian zine maker that you should definitely be following! They were talking about their passion for art, writing, and zine making in a way that reinvigorated my own love for learning and for art. This inspiring creator featured my little zine in their most recent video and I'm just feeling so humbled and grateful. So yeah, it's a gratitude post! Seeing Bre being so open and vulnerable about her work gave me a lot of bravery to start sharing my own, and it's made such an impact on my life already.
